Redevelopment Plan
Building on our success and experience and embracing the Macau government’s goal to diversify and attract a broader range of visitors, we have taken the initiative to redevelop Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, which involves the refurbishment of existing facilities as well as adding new ones.

Upon completion of the redevelopment, the operating site area of Macau Fisherman’s Wharf is expected to increase to approximately 133,000 square meters from approximately 109,500 square meters.

As part of the redevelopment project, we plan to develop the following facilities:

Legend Palace Hotel

  1. A five-star deluxe medieval Central/Northern Asian-themed hotel.
  2. Planned to have 229 opulent guest rooms including suites, restaurants, health club with swimming pool and gym, high-end gaming, retail, entertainment and leisure facilities.
  3. Construction of hotel is expected to complete in Q2 2016.

Legendale Hotel

  1. A five-star deluxe rating, Neo-Renaissance style hotel which is expected to become the flagship hotel of Macau Fisherman's Wharf.
  2. Planned to have 500 guest rooms including suites, restaurants, health club with swimming pool and gym, elegant ballroom facilities, gaming, retail, entertainment and leisure facilities.

General entertainment and cultural facility

  1. The dinosaur journey is an entertainment experience bringing the world of dinosaurs to the visitors.
  2. The facility is designed to include fossil exhibits as well as the addition of intellectual, entertaining and interactive elements to provide an exciting visitor experience.
  3. A newly developed multi-purpose entertainment and performance theatre holding more than 1,000 seats.

Yacht club and public pier

  1. Further development of the Marina to increase the size of its mooring area.
  2. Include a yacht club with immigration facilities.

Canopied open-air shopping, dining and entertainment colonnade

  1. Fixed canopy structures will be developed on main boulevard and Jackson Square providing all-weathered protection with integrated lighting entertainment shows.
  2. A variety of retail and al fresco dining options along the colonnade and to provide entertainment, including stage shows and overhead light shows.
  3. Stretching from the convention and exhibition center to Babylon Casino, linking up most properties at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf.
  4. It will enable visitors to Macau Fisherman’s Wharf to stroll along open-air walkways and move freely between our facilities under shelter and natural light.

Redevelopment of existing facilities

  1. Refurbishment and addition of facilities to certain buildings, including Babylon Casino and Rocks Hotel.
